About the Show:
The English game programme Family Feud Canada is modelled on the American game show of the same name. It’s headed by comedian and actress Gerry Dee.
It was announced on May 29, 2019, that on December 16, 2019, CBC Television would begin airing an English-language version. Zone 3 would produce the version, which Fremantle North America would distribute.
In February 2020, the programme was renewed for a second season by CBC. It was renewed for a third, fourth, fifth, and upcoming sixth season.
Every family member in Canada needs to be at least eighteen years old. There’s no age restriction in the United States. If the victors do not win the main prize, they will receive $5 for each point. The Fast Money reward in this form is CA$10,000 in tax-free cash. As of December 30, 2019, the maximum number of entries is three.

Gerry Dee:
Canadian-born Gerry Dee works as an actor, stand-up comedian, host of game shows, director, producer, and writer. On December 31, 1968, Gerard Francis-John Donoghue was born. It’s Family Feud Canada that he hosts.
On the fifth season of Last Comic Standing, he finished in third place. On July 8, 2019, it was announced that Dee will be hosting Family Feud Canada. He also wrote and starred in the CBC TV series Mr. D.
Dee was raised by Scottish and Irish parents. Gerard Francis-John Donoghue was his birth name. Although he was raised in Scarborough, he was born in Toronto. He was a golfer and hockey player for his collegiate team.
He attended De La Salle College in Oaklands, where he later served as a coach and physical education teacher, and St. Gabriel’s in Bayview/Sheppard.
