Deal or No Deal Australia 2025 Format:
Preliminary rounds:
The audience of 200 is split up into eight numbered “blocks” of 25 when the game starts. The audience is split into a red team (blocks 1-4) and a blue team (blocks 5-8) for the first round. Three multiple-choice questions were to be answered by the players utilizing keypads.
After three questions, the team with the most points advanced to the following round, where the four blocks of the winning team faced off over three additional questions. A point was awarded for each accurate response.
After this round, “the podium” is occupied by the block with the most points. Now, one of the other seven blocks is chosen at random to bring another player back into the game. Another round of trivia questions is played, but this time the players are on the stage alone.
In other words, if 10 players answer right, that implies 16 answered mistakenly, so the 10 players who answered properly each receive 16 points. Players receive points for correct responses according to the number of players who answer incorrectly.
Players are ranked according to how fast they lock in their answers in the event of a tie. After five questions, “the Orb” is reached by the two players with the highest score and/or the fastest responses.
The two remaining players must use up to six clues to guess an answer at the Orb. The round is played in a sudden-death fashion, meaning that the winner advances to the main game if either player buzzes in and offers a wrong response or hesitates too long.

Main Round:
At this point, the final player has to select from 26 numbered briefcases that have various sums of money placed inside of them. The remaining twenty-five players from the podium round split up the briefcases. Next, the player has to choose which briefcases to open.
There are six briefcases to choose from in the first round, and then each subsequent round chooses one fewer case until the sixth round when cases are picked one at a time. The player gets an offer from “the Bank” after each round, who wants to purchase their case to prevent them from earning the full worth of their case.
The player has the option to accept the agreement and keep the money that is being offered to them, or they can reject the arrangement (“No Deal”) and move on to the following round. If the player chooses to accept the offer, they will proceed to choose additional circumstances to determine if they sold for a profit or not.
The player wins the value of their case and their case is opened if they advance to the final two cases. The player is tasked with estimating which of the remaining sums is concealed in each suitcase as it is chosen.
If they are right, their winnings will vary according to the case selection round. When the player chooses one case at a time, the prize drops from $6,000 for a successful guess in the first round to $1,000.
Daily Format:
At the beginning of the game, there are 150 players divided into six numbered blocks of 25. A pretest of three multiple-choice items is administered to a randomly chosen participant from each of the remaining five blocks and one of these blocks.
The players with the most and/or fastest correct answers move on to the main game as the winners. Subsequently, this was changed to assign the other players in their block to the podium and select one player at random.
The player begins eliminating the remaining cases after choosing their case. Right now, a podium player can make $1,000 (and then $500) by correctly guessing what will be in their case.
